Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program
D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teach children in 5th and 6th grade, prior to going to Jr. High School, how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.
The Quincy Police Department currently has two sworn officers certified to teach D.A.R.E: Officer Amber Haistings and Officer Luke Humke.
The Focus of D.A.R.E.
